U.S. Congressional Candidate Dan Franzese (FL- CD22) Calls For An Investigation of Lois Frankel’s Suspicious Stock Trades
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PALM BEACH FL – May 2, 2023 - Dan Franzese, 2024 Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 22nd Congressional District, has called for an investigation of Rep. Lois Frankel’s trades in the shares of JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) and First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC).
Franzese said, “Lois Frankel’s well-timed sale of First Republic shares before it took a nose-dive as regulators moved in and her well-timed buy of JPMorgan shares before it benefited from its government-arranged purchase of First Republic is highly suspicious and warrants a full Congressional investigation.”
Franzese, a successful businessman and investor, has pledged that he will not trade in individual stocks if he is elected to Congress. “All Members should take this pledge to root out corruption and to restore confidence in Congress,” he said.
Frankel, a Democrat, is in her sixth term representing Florida in Congress and currently represents the state’s 22nd Congressional District. She has a history of trading securities of companies that do business with the U.S. Federal Government and has been in the news for other questionable business practices.
